About
![]() Stefan Grol is a keen wildlife photographer and artist. He is very passionate about the natural world, and during these last 2 years, has been fortunate enough to nurture this passion in the South Pantanal in Brazil, where he has helped to manage Embiara Lodge. This is truly a natural wilderness overflowing with an incredible diversity of animals - a perfect place for wildlife photography. At the end of November 2010, Stefan photographed a puma dragging an adult capybara from a lake near the lodge - these images were then shown as a gallery on BBC Wildlife Magazine's homepage in December 2010. Stefan has an artist's eye, which he brings to his photography. He is fascinated by macro photography and the way that it allows him to enter another world and portray tiny creatures as ominous giants. |
